Nope, Alberta has oil sands, sandy soil with a high concentration of natural
bitumen. http://www.energy.gov.ab.ca/89.asp
Please cite a source for liberal-wacko US-funded coal-to-diesel programs in
Canada.

Exxon is not a good buy, the price is too high. Should have bought this time
last year, the return since then has been 24% I believe. And I think it was
closer to a 10% margin last year. Major retailers regularly work on less
than 4%.

Re: Noticed on Ebay
Hi Matt,
Actually we pay for the programs in higher retail costs by forcing
the oil companies to use their moneys in explorations. Making the oil
companies' thirty six billion dollar profit, which is a mere drop in the
bucket when compared to their assists, that's the reason as you have
found they're NOT a good investment at any time in their history!
I'm not going to waste my time searching for coal to diesel, unless
YOU really can't find an example, because I know it is Total waste, like
using six times the energy to produce ethanol or hydrogen. Geez, ask
your Dad, what diesel is!

There were no SMOG laws when American Made Overhead Cam heads were put
on Model T's and A's for racing, and on the American Made Duesenberg J
and SJ or the American made Miller-Meyer-Drake-Offenheuser that won
Indy 35 times. The only GM engine they make anymore that's any good
except Duramax, is the Northstar as you well know. Let's not forget the
Overhead Cam Allison V-1710 that won WWII and a lot of Boat races. No
one in their right mind would build a pushrod engine today except for
racing where the ridiculous rules favored them like Mercedes Benz did
when they won Indy a few years back.
The Ford GT is a JOKE and a CARTOON CAR unlike the real Lola built
GT40 that is really a Lola of course.
