So what is the difference between the old BFG MTs and the new KMs?

They changed the lugs on the edges. The KM has roughtly equivelent changes
as the KO.

Okay. So you are saying the KMs are more like the A/T KOs on the edges. Well
not really but I know what you mean. The A/T edges are more closely spaced.

The KMs still look different enough.

Now if there was a pic of the old M/Ts :)

Re: New tire decision

What I thought I said is the AT was changed to the AT KO. The same changes
that were done to the AT to make it the AT KO were done to the MT to make it
the MT KM. Obviously, the changes were not the same because the tires are
remarkably different, but the changes are in the same vein. I think I would
need the AT and the AT KO to be side by side to point out the differences,
and presumably improvements. I would also need theMT and the MT KM to be
side by side to point out the differences. I think the main difference is
the tread is more aggressive where it wraps around and becomes the sidewall.
