Bill, that was positively the most thorough, most detailed, most
well-documented ....well, most perfect tech description I've ever seen.
Thanks, but this is beyond my feeble efforts. Think I'll tell the friend to
do a rear end swap. She asked if I would go with her on a Jamboree. I
said, if you can find one thats on perfectly level ground, and there are no
hills on the way there, then maybe. ha ha,

thanks, Beerman. Think your advice is probably what this person and Jeep
need,. I'll pass along your comments....The original owner spent a lot of $$
tricking out this Jeep, but stopped short of finishing the job......

If doing the engine and trans why not go V8 as you need a new trans anyway.
