Need part - 70 Commando
Help me out here guys and gals. A good friend of mine has a 1970 Jeep Commando
(Jeepster), its the 4wd model, with the V6. He desperately needs a clutch cable.
Does any one have any good ideas on where to find one? So far no one can get them or
their auto books don't go that far back.
TIA!

Hi Jennifer,
The cable wasn't stock either, but he'll probably find another
conversion kit like it at Border Parts, I put their address and phone
number a San Diego map to it:
http://yellowpages.superpages.com/su...714BA3AE58&CB=
You might turn him on to making one out of his frayed cable, run it
back over a pulling, like this home made chain:
http://www.----------.com/clutchCable.jpg I converted to hydraulic:
