There may be adjustment issues... but they CAN be resolved. Is there a body
lift? If so, might need to extend the length of the clutch rod (from the
peddle to the bellcrank).

There may be adjustment issues... but they CAN be resolved. Is there a body
lift? If so, might need to extend the length of the clutch rod (from the
peddle to the bellcrank).

There may be adjustment issues... but they CAN be resolved. Is there a body

As Mike said, you want to make sure the throw out bearing's not
riding the pressure plate, so make sure you have at least an half inch
of free play at the top, released. Where it releases at is controlled by
the type of pressure plate, disk, and whether you're using bell cranks
and push or pull rods, or hydraulics to release it.

Oh sure.... NOW I see this. My simple little clutch project would have gone a
lot smoother if I had known that. We ended up just cutting it and putting a
coupling nut in it. Now I also have an adjustable clutch rod.
Kinda cool. Did I say simple.... ?
