Re: My Jeep Belt

Is it speed related or engine speed related ?
Does it go away if you disengage the clutch ?
Can you hear the same clicking when you are braking ?

Its automatic. And the noise stops shortly after I am accelerating. It
only last for a few seconds. I dont hear it any other time but when I
first start to accelerate.

You could have an exhaust leak (like a crack in the manifold or a leaky
gasket). That can cause what sounds like a rattle or knock, especially
accelerating from a stop or low speeds. My daughter has one of those and
she's bugging the heck out of me to fix it - but it's not bothering me
so...

Usually, the sounds changes as temp increases from a cold start and the
metal expands.
