Mud King tires
Anyone have an opinion of Mud King tires? They are the older model BFG mud
terrains, sold under a new name. Any thoughts on how they perform both on road and off, and what the tread wear is like? I'm considering a switch to a more aggressive tread pattern from the current Cooper ST's (which incidentally I like very much). Most mud terrains are within the budget....but they certainly do stretch it, and I can get the mud kings at a 25% discount relatively speaking; so needless to say I'm considereing them! Thanks, RAC |

Re: Mud King tires
I lived up in Northern WV for 12 years or so, they were really popular
there. It seemed anybody with a 4WD ran Mud Kings. Cheap, good traction, and lasted a good while. I prefer the Cooper brand tire too, and have had much luck with the Discoverer series. Re: Mud King tires
Have ya checked out the new Cooper STT's with the new tread pattern, quite a
bit more aggresive than the old STT's and sexy side lugging not to mention the re-enforced sidewalls...been running them on my wife's ZJ for the last year and a half...GREAT tire! http://www.coopertires.com.au/tyres/stt_new.htm Jeff "L.W.(Bill) ------ III" <----------@cox.net> wrote in message news:45652404.C682DA44@cox.net... > Survey: > http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey....jsp?type=ORMT > For street I like BF Goodrich AT KOs, I never rains in California. > God Bless America, Bill O|||||||O > mailto:-------------------- http://www.----------.com/ > > RAC wrote: >> >> Anyone have an opinion of Mud King tires?
