Re: Moab Cell Phone Service
You are making a mistake hanging on the the Sprint Startac. I have two
in a box if you're interested in them. The Sprint network upgrades
regularly and if you are using old technology, you will not have good
reception. They will _GIVE_ you a new phone that will work well with the
newer network. Try it, you'll be amazed....or are you still running
Windows 3.1?

The locals are saying:
AT&T works ok, but you have to have a good phone with them. Also AT&T has
been bought by Cingular, so services maybe changing soon
AT&T works better than Nextel
Verizon works OK
Sprint "works great" in that area.

Re: Moab Cell Phone Service
My Son has a new account with Sprint, he can't reach his voice mail
from my home inside the city limits of Vista either. And no I'm not
going to give up the only phone that I can depend on to work, the
Motorola analog, a Verizon!
And yes, I still use GW Basic, Window 3.1 for AOL dialup:

Re: Moab Cell Phone Service
I can't vouch for the RF black hole you might live in, but my statement
about upgrading your _SPRINT_ Startac remains...
_IF_ you want better _SPRINT_ service.
- that is all.
