Mike,

You couldn't have been more right if you'd been standing next to me.

I got under the truck the other night, followed the O2 sensor wire,
and sure enough.... a snag which had broken the insulation and had
some strands hanging out (right over/on the front axle).

A butt splice, some tie raps, and the truck has been strong for almost
50 miles now.

I think it's actually running BETTER now because the wire I fixed was
actually cut through, so the 02 sensor probably wasn't reading.

Again, thanks so very much for taking what could have been a nightmare
and making it into a 1-2-3 project.

LOL! Well, he just brightened up my sunny Sunday morning with me stuck
home here with two broken Jeeps and a canceled camping/fishing trip....

All the 'helpers' I had last week decided they didn't feel like helping
put the wheels back on the Cherokee come Friday afternoon, they wanted
to party so I couldn't get either Jeep in running order to go away.
(broke the frame again on the CJ7, it is streeable, but not bushable)

I am sure getting tired of not being able to turn a wrench. :-(

Two of these fools have non running vans they expect 'me' to help get
going and the other one has serious TJ wiring issues that likely
requires some serious bypassing. (already had to bypass his headlights
with relays). Ya right gents, I'll be rip roaring ready to help you any
time.......
