About 10 years ago, I had a set of 285/75/r16 Wild Country tires on my
97 Silverado. If I'm not mistaken, they were made by Mastercraft. They
were good tires, wore very well and gave good traction. I also had a
set of Mastercraft tires on my wife's Caravan. No problems with them
either.

I had a set of 31x10.5x15 A/T's by Mastercraft. I found that they really
gunked up with snow and were not that good in winter as a result. Was a
pretty hard compound and after a couple of years of driving on them I had
lost almost no tread from them.
I've actually still got them in my garage as they are a great highway tire
compared to my 33 MTR.
So pavement good, snow bad, gravel good, mud bad.
