Light Bracket for jeep wrangler
I have a jeep wrangler and am thinking about put more lights on my jeep by
using a light bracket that mounts onto your windshield hinge. What i was wondering if is how you run your wires to the lights. Do you have to drill a hole through your windshield or just run the wires around the door or what. If some one could give me some information on this that would be great! thanks jeff -- Message posted via CarKB.com http://www.carkb.com/Uwe/Forums.aspx/jeep-cars/200601/1 |

Re: Light Bracket for jeep wrangler
Leaving aside the question of why you would want to do this, unbolt the
sport bars and windshield base straps, from where they bolt to the windshield frame, and fold it down. Then you will see if there are holes in the windshield frame, to run the wires through. Re: Light Bracket for jeep wrangler
The windshield screws can be a real bear but if you are intent then get
yourself a hand held impact wrench with an impact torx head also, you want to line on some replacement screws. I just do not like drilling the windshield frame because eventually it will rust. I would just take the path of least resistance and just mount the lights up front on the bumper or on a raised grill guard.
