and the new owners are jerks. Maybe it was his way of getting back at the

Hmm, I'd be more likely to believe that he first pissed off a
customer of the old owners. Then that customer let the new owner
know what kind of an ------- he is, and the new owners might
be more familiar with warranty laws as well as the concept of
not pissing off customers.

Hmm, I'd be more likely to believe that he first pissed off a
