LF Misc Underhood YJ Parts
Hi, I'm looking for a few parts for my 89 YJ, here they are...
- Coolant overflow bottle cap - Windshield washer bottle cap I was also wondering if I should replace the flexible square hose that feeds air in the air cleaner from the radiator support. Mine was pretty much a piece of crap and I removed it. Thanks, Nelson PS Reply to ---> jeep at optikadesign dot net or just reply to this group |
Re: LF Misc Underhood YJ Parts
Don't replace the intake hose, it's a conduit for water ingress if you get
into anything much over the front bumper. DC has a bulleting that recommends just pulling it out. There is also a way you can fashion a higher intake tube (like the TJs) out of plastic plumbing pipe. Cold air induction is for better mileage, which of course, is more

Hi Nelson,
Junk yard? The flex tube are well stocked at any parts store. It's required to pass the SMOG visual.
