Re: Left Front Tire Wear 2001 TJ with Factory Canyon RIm Package
I had a similar situation a month ago - '01, 30" GSAs. Repeating
diagonal pattern on front left. Turned out my alignment was out up
front. Since the alignment I've rotated the tires and the new front
left shows no problems.

Re: Left Front Tire Wear 2001 TJ with Factory Canyon RIm Package
I took the jeep to a trusted wheel alignment shop today and the owner
is convinced that the Wrangler GS/A tire is a total piece of garbage.
They don't sell tires, their only business is wheel alignment. I didnt
feel like he was trying to make a sale.
He recommended an inspection and alignment check ( which the jeep
dealer said they had done) but doubted that it would help my
situation.
I read some reviews on tirerack.com about this tire and feel
fortunate that I have gotten 30,000 miles out of them.
It does seem possible that it is shock wear and I was thinking about
having a friend drive along side me down a 4 lane highway to observe
if the wheel is doing alot of bouncing compared to the right side.
