Terrible as in bumpy or terrible as in steering/wobble?

I'm not familiar with the Black Diamond brand, but boucy and hard
are opposite things. Might be the Black Diamond AT shocks are like
my Edelbrock IAS shocks. They are stiff on the road but loosen up
if you hit them hard. Tires and tire pressure can also change things
quite a bit.
Make sure your running the correct pressure for the road.
