Jeep Wrangler Sport (02) Suspension Problem
hi guys and gals,
I have a 2002 jeep wrangler sport and when I hit a large bump in the road
the whole jeep and steering shakes ...sometimes violently. I understand it
is difficult to diagnose via a newsgroup post, however, I am trying to get
some information on the possible cause before bringing my baby to the
mechanic. Thanks in advance.

Re: Jeep Wrangler Sport (02) Suspension Problem
It can not shimmy without a bad steering stabilizer shock absorber:

And it's a good idea to find what else got bent or broken at your
alignment shop, a tire casing would probably be the most likely. Tell
them about the accident so they will double check things like broken
ball joints, knuckles, wheel bearing, rims, etc. and other things that
could kill you.
