Hi Bill,
The small file is like an old Ford flat head V8 or an Olds V8
something with only three header ports per side:

old starter bendix, but you didn't rap it to give me any further clues,
other than it's very mild, stock:

it's a self propelled artillery. And the answer is?

Some controls looks similar but is not that model.
The quality of the picture is poor but I found it at Google Pictures. The
radio is this one:
