Although it's never slowed me down to just use rubber lube and work the
5/8" on like you have, you won't have a problem with it unless you need
a ninety in it and it's kinked.

Kevin, as you found out, the heater uses two different diameter hoses. I was
only able to find that odd size hose at the dealer. :)
