did u clean the battery connections or are they still black on the inside??

Where'd you get your rebuilts? Dealer or other Mopar parts or elsewhere?
Looks like I have a stuck starter as well, the whack it with a pipe
method seems to be proving...

Yes, cleaned and still intermittent issue. One thing I noticed is I
don't hear the solenoid kick in like I believe I should hear when it
decides not to start. This is prior to the engagement to the starter so
I will look there also.

Yes, cleaned and still intermittent issue. One thing I noticed is I
don't hear the solenoid kick in like I believe I should hear when it

Dealer ... sorry, didn't keep a record of the part numbers. But each time a
replacement was required ... at about 10 months ... there was a new part
number. For what it's worth, the current starter just plain sounds better
than the others so I (or we) may be in luck this time. The advantage of
going with the dealer (up here anyway) is they honor the 1-yr warranty.
