Assume your starting with junk and that it will take all you have before it works just right. :) Actually the Infinity system isn't bad at all, but the outputs and inputs limit what you can do. While amps will take speaker level outputs they work better with line level. Actually the first step is figuring out what you want to do with the system and your budget. Start by visiting the professional audio stores that compete in IASCA and ask to see the "brag book". You don't need a lot of power to make a Grand hit hard, actually 300W is way more than enough to cause hearing damage. Keep this in mind, the clearer the system the more dangerous it is to your hearing because your brain will tolerate deafening sound levels as long as it sounds clean. For a system like mine be prepared to part with about 4k, but most folk don't need that level of clarity. I competed with it so it was a justified hobby expense... yea.. that's the ticket! ^_^ http://members.cox.net/wilsond/Jeepstereo.html http://members.cox.net/wilsond/zj.html Oddly I have more stereo pics in the supercharger write-up. :/ -- -- DougW -- 93 ZJ 4.0 http://members.cox.net/wilsond HESCO Supercharger - 300W IASCA Stereo - Edelbrock IAS Shocks Gibson Exhaust - rear DCpower - custom gauge install - Stillen Rotors Banks Header - and BEER, in the fridge! |
