I asked the same question a while back, and also did a little
research... Basically they are supposed to be flat on a YJ just a little
positive arc. If they are inverted at all then they need replacing.

As for steering; my leafs are pretty badly sagged but the steering is
fine.... might look elsewhere to correct that problem. Unless yours are
inverted more than mine:
