Re: how hard to run 32's on a TJ?
I'll go along with that, too. When you decide to get 33s, a 4" lift works
perfectly. As for the 33x9.5, it's a great size. It works well in most conditions and you don't have to worry so much about rubbing and wide flares. -- Jim "G.Sandhu" <sandhug@worldnet.att.net> wrote in message news:773a8bb7.0311300629.3c58d6d@posting.google.co m... > I second that advice. Re: how hard to run 32's on a TJ?
Procomp offers a 2 inch suspension lift for you Jeep that is pretty
reasonable. That's enough to run the 32" tires. Also, if you want later on you can add the 2" spacer lift and up the tires to 33's. You could run the spacer lift now then upgrade the suspension later on too. Anyway, I would stay away from the body lift unless you go with a 1". I don't think I'd go with anything larger than that on a TJ. They look funny to me. My 2 cents...Casey Teague http://justjeeps.jeepz.com "Jeff Olsen" <jeffo@efn.org> wrote in message news:bqbsk4$97o@garcia.efn.org... > I will be doing my regearing soon for my TJ (thanks for all the help, guys > and gals!) and that means I can use bigger tires. I think narrow tires have better traction, within reason, in mud and snow
at least... -jeff In <s8ujsv0face160816f7f2t4sdnm7kus6a3@4ax.com> Ed J. <ej_000@hotmail.com> writes: >Jeff - >I think BFG discontinued the 33x9.5, but I wonder why you'd want to >run that size (width) anyway - the actual treadwidth of a 10.50 AT is >8". Re: how hard to run 32's on a TJ?
Mebbe, 'cept if that was the direction you'd be going, I'd do the spacer
lift first. Then, when you want to go up you've only invested a couple C notes. Who knows, by then you'll probably be wanting that 4" suspension lift anyhoo...
