Probably could have taken a lot more off than that without problems.
Don't think I ever saw a header install that didn't require some
modification of something.

Don't think I ever saw a header install that didn't require some
modification of something.

Yea, I tend to be conservative. My only worry was if the header
would expand due to heat and hit the mount. So far so good. If it
does I'll just jack the engine up and remove it from underneath
then grind on it some more.
Talked to the engineering folks at Banks and they were interested
in my feedback. Seems they never heard from any 93 ZJ install of this
product. I'm going to send them the measurements and install pics so
they can make whatever changes or include notes in the manual.
