Re: Hit and run

Talking to the police is a waste of time? You want to communicate what
happened to the police, so you can get a police report and your insurance
company knows it is not your fault. So how are you going to pay for the
damage repairs? Sure they're not going to investigate, much, but someone
might have seen something, eh? You never know. Now I don't know if anyone
has asked this, but do you have Uninsured Motorist Coverage? This pays when
someone without insurance or a hit/run damages your vehicle.

Cheers,

Earle

Hi Earle,
About ten years ago San Diego Police stopped taking reports on even hot
burbularies, and any type of auto accident saying that was between you and
your insurance company. Their crime stats went down for that year, ONLY.
