Comp is a very inexpensive part of the cost of your insurance premiums.
You should always include it in your policy. It covers things like hit
and run, deer damage, hail damage, and other "acts of God". If you don't
have comp, it probably won't do you any good to report it.

windshields, and a bunch of other things. And collecting against it is
not considered a chargeable claim.

I pay $100 a month for my YJ and my Grand Cherokee combined. Goes to $160 a
month when I also plate my Corvette.
On just the YJ, it's $550 a year for me.
