Hey Bill Huges
 

Bill, you figured out my problem a few yrs back about connecting to the
group on netscape. I did netscape on this puter and they want $$ for me
to come here. I am getting on by googgle now and I dont like it. I
like the old way, HATE this way. How do I do it?

Hi John,
Using your COX account and the older 4.78 Netscape like I like to
use (No Hackers) click on Edit at the top of you of your browser,
Preferences, Mail & News, Identity to make sure it's hooked to your Cox
account: http://www.----------.com/temp/nscape0.jpg Then click on
Newsgroups Servers, and plug in news.west.cox.net
http://www.----------.com/temp/nscape1.jpg
The newer 7.1 Netscape, click on Window at the top, Mail &
Newsgroups, Local Folders, Create a new account, check newsgroups
account and next, Identity use your real user address:
http://www.----------.com/temp/nscape73 as it and your next screen
server get you logged on: http://www.----------.com/temp/nscape74 And
Finnish looking like: http://www.----------.com/temp/nscape76 providing
the are correct to be able to log on. I May be easier to use
http://cox.net and look for their configuration support, but as usual
here it was down here.
