Re: '99 TJ won't start -- rapid popping sound
The battery I took out a month or two ago was one that I had put in
about two years ago, it was not the original battery. I took the
2-month-old battery back to the store and they tested it, they said it
had a "dead cell" and gave me a new one. I don't know if having a
"dead cell" indicated that there was something wrong with the battery
itself, or that it had just been drained somehow. Between traveling
100% for work and being busy with a brand new baby boy, I haven't even
tried the new battery yet. I'm planning on doing it today, I will let
you guys know the results.
Thanks!
