There aren't too may WJ on this forum much less ones with the automatic
controls, mine is the manual control model.

All I know about the problem is what I've read..

yes i have replaced many a pass. blend air door and motors for this issue
and it requires removing dash and i now have a real nice tool that allows
me a birds eye view all i do is drill a hole and insert the tool and it
snakes thru the vents to the problem area

Does replacing the pass. side blend door require removing the entire
HVAC subassembly or only the dash? If the entire HVAC subassembly
needs to be removed, that would mean evactuating the A/C system of
refrigerant and re-charging it once re-asembled.
