Yea...ME! =)
Made a buddy take a few pics of my rig, most of them are of the other guys. Although he got a few on his camera of my rig too. Who knows, I might make the final cut in the video too?? LOL. Digital is cheap. Film is better quality. Digital is harder for action shots. I hate breaking my 35mm or getting it muddy. Digital it is.... =) On Fri, 21 Nov 2003 18:28:29 GMT, twaldron <twaldron@sbcOBVIOUSglobal.net> wrote: >>Cool. What a great set of pictures!! Re: Haz-Fest Winter 2003
Well, you do a great job. Digital is tough for action because the lower
end consumer cameras take too long to fire once you pull the trigger. Also, the shutter speeds are too slow and it often make for a blurry shot. Have patience, digital will replace film for this kind of thing very soon. jbjeep wrote: > Yea...ME! =) > > Made a buddy take a few pics of my rig, most of them are of the other guys. I took a film body to Moab this year because I didn;t want to lug the D1x and a laptop around, but ended up going "where's my preview" all weekend. Haven't shot 10 rolls of film total since the D1x showed up. I did pick up an Nion 5400 just for Jeeping and walking around, amazing image quality for such a little rig. |

BUNCH of film cameras. < I still have my 2 Nikon film cameras, but after a year or so of shooting digital I don't know why. |

I do the exact same thing. The F3 only goes on the real trips.

Re: Haz-Fest Winter 2003
It IS frustrating going from digital back to film and not seeing the
shots immediately. I still have my F3 in primo shape and can't seem to find the guts to sell it, but I can't say I haven't considered doing just that and purchasing a D1. Problem is, the D1s keep getting better, so you're into the same world as computers...upgrade-itis. My F3 has been a gem for over ten years...no upgrade necessary.
