Hardtops and Doors
I want to put a hardtop and full steel doors on my '97 TJ. OEM doors are
easy enough to get but I am seeing a variety of tops available. Could anyone
advise what is right and what is wrong with the following makes of top?
BestTop
(currently only a two piece is being sold and not until November, defroster
and wiper)
Pinnacle ( I can get a 2 or 1 piece unit in a matter of weeks, all have sun
roofs, defroster)
Steel Horse (can get 1 or 2 piece in a matter of weeks, defroster)
These are all within a hundred dollars of each other so price isn't a
determining issue.
Are these makes all equal, is one make far better than the others, do you
know of any other hardtops I should also consider?
Thanks for any help.

Re: Hardtops and Doors
Avoid anything by Steel Horse. Seems like most of their hardware arrives
pre-rusted. BestTop makes the best soft tops, and from what I hear, a
decent hardtop. I've never heard/seen anything by Pinnacle, but then again,
I haven't looked at aftermarket hardtops.
