He must have a set of hard doors to sell as well, because he's blowing smoke up
your skirt. If hard doors fit with the soft top (as would be the case with the
factory dual-top option) than it stands to reason that soft doors will fit with
the hardtop. And since I have both hard and soft doors and a hardtop and softop
for my '00 TJ, that is my experience. What may happen is when driving with
hardtop and soft doors, a wind gust may displace the soft door frame for a
second and make a gap. But that happens with the soft top too.

You need "adapter moldings" for the soft top, but you already have those...

When he's talking about "adapter moldings" it sure does
sound like the moldings for soft top that he's confusing
somehow to be needed with a hard top. I did go back to
see if he had a set of doors for sale & no he doesn't.
It looks more like he's just a another poor misinformed individual.
Apparently he's not hooked into this newsgroup.
