Re: Handgun storage in a TJ?

Joseph, what Nathan was trying to tell you is it would be consider poor
sport to try and kill a deer with a full auto M-16, the pullet doesn't
hit hard enough to explode it's heart. The deer will just run away to
bleed to death couple of days later or maybe in the agony of
paratinitus. So I repeat you are a bleeding heart liberal whom doesn't
know what you're talking about, outside of maintaining a jet engine.

Yep, and when you get there you are now in a crossfire...

You are the only person here that is fixated on cutting a deer in half
with automatic fire. All Nathan did was point out why the average
sturmgewher is a poor choice for hunting deer.
And as far as hunting on full auto goes, try that ---- in Alaska and I
would rat your ass out to the game wardens myself, and I hate most of
those guys.

I need one because it is my civic duty to be prepared to report with an
appropriate weapon, ammunition, and other gear in the event that the
militia is called up. I also need it in order to defend my family, home
and belongings from looters and other criminals in the event that
another disaster like the '64 quake hits, and lastly so that I can
resist a tyrannical government when it finally comes to that. I'm not
particularly worried about gangbangers; when they see one of their
colleagues go down with a .458" hole in his chest they will scatter. No
need for automatic fire.

Sounds like a good place for you.
