Friction modifier for Rubicon?

Re: Friction modifier for Rubicon?
If you have a Rubicon, you have the Tru-Lok and do not need the
modifier. That is a fact and you need not go any further. Other TJs that
got the optional D44/Trac-Lok have a clutch based system. Most of these
'manuals' cover more than one trim line and I think that is what is
confusing you.

Re: Friction modifier for Rubicon?
Thanks tw I got it and verified it with the Service Rep at the Dealer
But what's funny is as I said previously , the Spec sheet says that the
D44 with trac-loc is standard on the Rubie as is also the differential
with Tru-loc , also standard rather than optional. That's where the
confusion began.
Thinking the locker is called tru-loc, limited slip is called trac-loc
But in reality it's a tru-loc with a helical gear limited slip.
I have a pdf of the spec sheet if you want to see it.
But it's all clear now.

Re: Friction modifier for Rubicon?
Yep, and they call the Rubi's 4wd system Rock Trac or something like
that just to confuse the confusion. Anyway, sound like you're on "trac" now!
