extended droop / park brake issue
I can think of two ways to resolve the issue of stock length parking
brake cables being used in a Dana 300 equipped CJ-7 with extreme rear axle droop. One has to do with obtaining longer rear parking brake cables. The other would be to install a transfer case parking brake -not too different than the drum set up found on Spicer 18s & Dana 20s but preferably a disc brake which would not require a noticeably shorter drive shaft. If you have experience with this issue or recommendations, I'd like to know of it. Thank you. -- Harold J. By accident, I found the following web page...
http://www.jbconversions.com/pages/p...max/index.html It relates to the T-Case parking brake option. I've asked JB Conversions to provide more information. -- Harold J. Hoover 1984 CJ-7 guyloginin@earth*link.net - (Remove * to reply) http://home.earthlink.net/~guyloginin/Jeep.html Sedona, AZ USA |

LOL!
Well, I like to just move brackets.... The main cable has tons of adjustment on it to handle a couple inches of bracket repositioning.
