Whoever installed the aftermarket stereo obviously just connected it to the
first convenient wire they could find which has +12 volts on it... which
happened to also power your door locks. Obviously an electrical genius at
work. ;)
Rewire the stereo through an inline fuse directly to the battery.

first convenient wire they could find which has +12 volts on it... which
happened to also power your door locks. Obviously an electrical genius at
work. ;)
Rewire the stereo through an inline fuse directly to the battery.

happened to also power your door locks. Obviously an electrical genius at
work. ;)
Rewire the stereo through an inline fuse directly to the battery.

The power windows fuse blows.
BTW - I installed the stereo with the proper wiring harness that plugs into the
Chrysler attachments. Did it to my '98 XJ with no electrical problems - but it
didn't last after some wacko flipped my truck over at an intersection.
