E is for Empty.
Well, usually when the little fuel light comes on the distance-to-empty
counter will run down past 4-5 miles and the ZJ has no problem. Except today. The light was on and the dte said I had 20 miles left. Plenty to get gas this afternoon. however.... Got off the highway from a long drive (Little Rock to Oklahoma) and just as I slowed for a stoplight.... sputter.. stall. Stopped, restarted, thought nothing of it as "stall happens" sometimes. :) But the next time I slowed.. sputter... stall.. Got a restart and made it all the way to a gas station. And what do you know. They were having a price war and the price was down to 2.40/gal :) -- DougW |

Hi Doug,
That's something you couldn't in the old mechanical days. Of course that pump didn't instantly cook when dry. ;-) God Bless America, Bill O|||||||O mailto:-------------------- http://www.----------.com/ DougW wrote: > > Well, usually when the little fuel light comes on the distance-to-empty > counter will run down past 4-5 miles and the ZJ has no problem. > > Except today.
