I just had to do that to my rear brake bulbs and have one front signal
that needs it. Intermittent flashing.
The new pigtails I installed when I did my frame up build have smaller
contacts than a stock one I think, or just plain vibration got to the
solder pads on the bulbs, don't know.
Meanwhile your 'fix' works great!

Glad to hear that. This fix also works for contacts on the V65 Magna
(motorcycle) starter switch. It suffers from the same problem. Why
Honda would use that type of contact for a starter switch is beyond me.
I sort of wonder why they use solder for the bulb contact. I mean it works
but the melting point is a bit low. Guess it's the cheapest method
available. :/
