Hi Brian,
You may plug in the VIN at: http://jeep.avtograd.ru/VIN/vin_en.asp
and get that info. Ten years ago the engine was the letter in the eighth
position.

I don't know of a site that tells us that for a car newer than ten
years. That's why I said go by your number eight symbol.
