Dang! TJ Still Overheating

'98 TJ 6 cyl. Manual-

Replaced thermostat, water pump (yes, reverse rotation confirmed),
hoses, radiator cap, and radiator drain plug. She STILL overheats!
What next? Radiator clogged?

Re: Dang! TJ Still Overheating

Have you flushed your radiator? Have you always run the right coolant mix,
kept it maintained? Maybe your radiator IS gummed up.

I'd pressure test it.
You'd be looking for a defective radiator, head gasket or cracked block,
maybe even a very slightly damaged freeze plug.

Re: Dang! TJ Still Overheating

Did you flush the system or just drain it?

How old was the coolant?

What brand?
