Dang! TJ Still Overheating

'98 TJ 6 cyl. Manual-

Replaced thermostat, water pump (yes, reverse rotation confirmed),
hoses, radiator cap, and radiator drain plug. She STILL overheats!
What next? Radiator clogged?

Re: Dang! TJ Still Overheating

Have you flushed your radiator? Have you always run the right coolant mix,
kept it maintained? Maybe your radiator IS gummed up.

I'd pressure test it.
You'd be looking for a defective radiator, head gasket or cracked block,
maybe even a very slightly damaged freeze plug.

Did you flush the system or just drain it?

How old was the coolant?

What brand?

Re: Dang! TJ Still Overheating

you might just have a simple air lock try starting the truck and take the
cap off u might see flow but if not try priming your hose if you see
bubbles that is your problem
