Dana 35 to Chrysler 8.25 for XJ swap questions
I think the clutches in my 96 XJ w/ Track Lok Dana 35 are going bad.
160,000 miles. (clunking/knocking and growning noises)
I have someone willing to sell me a Chrysler 8.25 from a 96 XJ w<65k
miles for $130
How difficult would the swap be? Tips?
I don't do so serious offroading so i don't really need the 8.25 and
im not sure how much it would cost to have my Dana rebuilt?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx in advance
Brian

Re: Dana 35 to Chrysler 8.25 for XJ swap questions
More than likely with the V8 or trailer package came a different axle
ratio. Otherwise it should be a straight bolt in and driveshaft.
