Crap Omix parts
Is anyone else fed up with the garbage that Omix passes off as parts?
Everything I buy for my '82 with their name on the package seems to have a
lifetime in low single-digit years. For example, my turn signal switch
died again. This will be the fifth switch in seven years. Their
replacement oil pan fits poorly and leaks a bit, even after putting on a
proper gasket around the drain plug (leaked -really- bad before). And I'm
on my third gas tank float in seven years.
I'd be willing to pay twice as much for parts that don't break and fit
properly. I'll save more than that in only having to do the job once (my
time is -not- free).
Are there any decent sources for CJ parts out there?
