Hi Bill,
I wonder if they would rebuild the engine after the head gasket
were eating out by the acid that is made by temperature changes. Or even
the core plug between the block and flywheel.

I would take a picture of the container, so that with all these
Greenies environmentalist new rules you're able to add the correct fluid
should a pump or hose fails between intervals:

They would probably refund your money you spent on the coolant.

Actually you would have to sue them and that would cost more than replacing
the motor and cooling system.

I've got a picture somewhere showing the remains of a silicone seal from a
Ford V-8 that was dissolved by Prestone... If I find it I'll forward it..

You can do the flushing with well or 'softened' water until it is completely
clear then I would do another one with distilled to get the minerals rinsed
out.

Be sure to use distilled to top off after filling with coolant concentrate.

Your hoses are 7 years old now, the general replacement age according to the
aftermarket companies is 4 years...

You can do the flushing with well or 'softened' water until it is completely
clear then I would do another one with distilled to get the minerals rinsed
out.

Be sure to use distilled to top off after filling with coolant concentrate.

Your hoses are 7 years old now, the general replacement age according to the
aftermarket companies is 4 years...

good for.
Twenty years ago Arco was the first to add ten percent alcohol, which
promptly eat out all the carburetor float needle valve using neoprene. Not

Somewhere I have a link to glove sales, that tell what chemicals they're
good for.
Twenty years ago Arco was the first to add ten percent alcohol, which
promptly eat out all the carburetor float needle valve using neoprene. Not
word was said about it, only that all the kits use the new compound.

There aren't any 'new compounds' to speak of for Jeeps; HOAT's (G-05),
are still using the same old silicated, ethlyene glycol stuff that's
been around for 50 years, but with a new, exciting dye color, lower
silicate levels, some benzoate, and without the phosphates; maybe even
some fragrance added to further excite the senses of buyers who don't
know dog poop from diamonds. G-05 is chemically similar to the old
green stuff, just some noodling with the recipe portions is all. This
stuff isn't any more EPA/ERA/NRA..whatever friendly than it's ever been.

system at least one hose is going to spring a leak?

So how close is this to the no name stuff on the end aisle display at
WalMart? Used to be, that was the same as the green stuff. There is a
pretty good chance it is the same as the new stuff now, ¿no?
