I still don't have a clue 'which' master or slave you changed but....
Fluid on the firewall implies the cap or cover has a bit of dirt on it
allowing the fluid to come out the top. The fluid squirts up with every
pedal hit and the reservoir can empty pretty fast if the cover isn't
sealed tight.
I would clean everything and have someone pump the crap out of it while
I watched to see if it's just coming out the top.
They can leak from the shaft seal, but then 'usually' you see the fluid
inside the vehicle on the inside firewall....

I changed the master. :)
When ever I have had a master go I have seen fluid on the inside and
outside of the firewall, with this one I cleaned the firewall drove it
around and found fresh fluid on the engine side of the firewall again.
(I'm pretty sure the cap was tight but I will give it another test)
Thanks

Ok I have to admit I was wrong here... the fluid was from the fitting
on the line from the master cyl. I think I have it tightened now but I
rounded the edges a bit. I might have to buy a new line when I get the
time.
