CJ8 leaf springs -- what should I do?

Re: CJ8 leaf springs -- what should I do?
When I needed new springs I just went to a local truck spring shop and
they ordered in new ones made to CJ7 specs. I wanted a 2.5" lift so
they got one spring arched already that way and manually arched the
others to match. They used the heavier pre-arched spring in place of
the second leaf down.
It has held great since 2000 and I bounce her pretty hard off road.

Re: CJ8 leaf springs -- what should I do?
Mike,
Looks like you want to keep things mostly original. Go to
http://www.willysoverland.com
They have many parts, some are N.O.S.. If keeping things original is what
you want to do I'd recommend going that way. Someone correct me if I'm wrong
but your springs are the same as CJ7 springs, so you may have to get those
since CJ8 stuff is few and far between.
