CJ5 V6 exhaust conversion question
I have a '81 CJ5 that I'm pulling out the iron Duke and putting in a Chevy
V6. Anyone know a good vender that sells stainless steel pipes, bends, band clamps and mufflers so I can fabricate my own system? Thanks...Ted |

Re: CJ5 V6 exhaust conversion question
I would stop by a few muffler shops over on the industrial side of town.
Dial in on the Mom & Pop stores, and shy away from the national franchise operations. The Mom & Pop stores will generally be very accomodating in the custom designs, and they will allow you to mill around the job site while they are working. I installed a Borla header, and needed the exhaust system that I had jpurchased about 6 months earlier to be modified and mounted to my CJ, and the Mom & Pop muffler shop did a great job for a reasonable price.
