You started this tread by telling us your shackles were nine inches
long, Geez, I can eye ball them in at six, from here! I don't think
there's a manufacturer stupid enough to even make nine! I mean can't you
tell the differences between the wrench leverages, one being three
inches long over one nine inches long. Then use common sense to transfer
that information for the added stress put on a spring. Judging by what
must be written on a carton these days, common sense must be severely
lacking in your generation.
