Hmmm.. The hose doesn't seem to be going through the firewall, it is
going down through the floor of the jeep, about a foot behind the
tranny/transfer case shifters.

You are correct. I just took a look at mine. It also goes through the
housing
about 1 inch in front of the firewall. You will get a lot of water through
this
hose when using the A/C on humid days.

You are correct. I just took a look at mine. It also goes through the
housing
about 1 inch in front of the firewall. You will get a lot of water through
this
hose when using the A/C on humid days.

Is it the drain hose for the evaporator or condensor, or whatever the part
is that lives under the dash and fills with water?
