Re: CJ-7 Spring Over
First off you should be aware of what all that involves:.
Spring perches
u-bolts
shock mounts
shocks
brake lines
e-brake cables
drive shaft length
pinion angle
belly pan spacers
sway bar disconnects
pitman arm
welding/cutting
and about $700
I went ahead and did spring bushings also.
Maybe you are already aware of this list, but let's start here...

Re: CJ-7 Spring Over
Hi Tony,
Only if you can't get the height for your humongous tires any other
way. The axles on the short leaf side will wrap likes there's no
tomorrow, you'll need strong traction bars to keep it from bouncing like
a TJ.

Re: CJ-7 Spring Over
Tony ; listen to bill. A friend of mine did one on a 84'' CJ and he is kind
of wishing that he hadn't now. He has broken the front and rear pinion
yokes. and now he's try to make a anti wrap bar and having a hard time with
it. I'm not saying that it's all bad ,but it is work , and in my book his
84 cj-7 flex's about 1" more then mine with a 4" spring kit. If I was to
open up the clamp's around my my spring's I could probably beat that. So in
case you haven't though it over real good you might want to. Good Luck!!!
Jimmie; 86" CJ-7 to many mod's to list and not even close to being done.
