No, you don't get it!
The USA passed a Law called the Magnus-Moss Warranty Act that deals specifically with sleaze ball rip off mechanics and illegal contracts. Just because 'you' want to burn some poor customer, the Act states 'you' are breaking the law. A contract cannot be inforced if it is illegal to start with fool. What Del said. But while it is not cost effective for a
individual person to sue, the plantif lawyers are happy to start a class action lawsuit. Not that I can defend the lawyer's 1/3 cut of the results but sometimes you just have to root for them over the jerks who trash the regular consumers. companys are not required by law to even offer a warranty if they do, they do it's out of the kindness of their pocketbook a contract is a contract and if you signed it then you waived your rights so find a chrysler service contract and read the fine print Mike Romain wrote: > No, you don't get it! > > The USA passed a Law called the Magnus-Moss Warranty Act that deals > specifically with sleaze ball rip off mechanics and illegal contracts. > > Just because 'you' want to burn some poor customer, the Act states 'you' > are breaking the law. > > A contract cannot be inforced if it is illegal to start with fool. > > Mike > > mic canic wrote: > > > > mike you are still missing the whole point of my original post! > > but you need to really read the fine print of the purchase contract/ warranty > > paper work when buying a new car. esp lease paper work regardless who makes it, > > they all say we the manufacture can and will void parts or all your warranty if > > necessary and once you sign the paper work you agreed to their terms of that > > contract. regardless of what the law states and that makes it legally binding and > > that's the point i was trying to make, that you can't seem to get ! > > stupid ------- ------- do you get it now! > > > > Mike Romain wrote: > > > > > cactuscowboy wrote: > > > > > > > > If a mechanic works 40 hours and gets paid for 80 hours, he deserves it and > > > > has worked hard to earn it. > > > > > > Yup, then this 'hard working' ------- calls up Daimler Chrysler and > > > tries to get peoples warranties removed because the customer pissed him > > > off. > > > > > > No matter that the law in the USA states the dealer cannot void a > > > vehicle warranty because the owner put a lift on or because they got mad > > > at the stealership's mechanic.
